Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 November 2026

These terms govern your use of Han Radar (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Han Radar (operated by an individual in the Republic of Korea) ("we", "us"). Paid plans are sold by our merchant of record, Polar (polar.sh), which is the seller of record for your purchase. You can reach us at support@hanradar.com.

2. What the Service does

The Service publishes automated English summaries of selected public disclosures filed by companies listed in the Republic of Korea on the DART system operated by the Financial Supervisory Service, and can email you when a company on your watchlist files one. Only some filing types are covered, summaries may be delayed, and some filings may be missed. Every summary links to the original Korean filing.

3. Not investment advice

The Service is for information only. Nothing in it is investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security. We are not registered as an investment adviser, broker or dealer in any jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions; consider consulting a licensed professional. See the Disclaimer.

4. Accuracy and the original filing

Figures in a summary are extracted from the filing text by software and checked against it; the explanatory English text is produced with the help of an AI model. Summaries and translations can still be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Where a summary differs from the original Korean filing, the original filing prevails. Always check the original before acting.

5. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address; keep access to that mailbox secure, because anyone who controls it can sign in to your account. One account is for one person. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including those of the country where you invest.

6. Plans, payment and cancellation

  • The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions in US dollars that renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Payment is processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Its checkout and buyer terms apply to the purchase, and it handles invoicing and the sales tax or VAT that applies where you live. We never see your full card details.
  • You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy (including a full refund within 14 days of your first payment).
  • We may change prices. A change applies to an existing subscription only from a renewal at least 30 days after we email you about it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape or download the Service's content in bulk, or access it with automated tools other than feeds we publish for that purpose;
  • resell, republish or redistribute summaries or alerts as a product or feed, or present them as your own work;
  • interfere with, probe or overload the Service, or try to get around its security or usage limits;
  • use the Service for anything unlawful, including market manipulation or spreading false information about securities.

Sharing a link to a page, or quoting a short excerpt with a link back and attribution, is fine.

8. Content and intellectual property

Original filings are public documents published through DART by the Financial Supervisory Service; rights in them belong to the filing companies and their authors. The English summaries, the site and the software are ours. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Financial Supervisory Service, Korea Exchange or any company we cover.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation; it depends on third parties such as DART. We may change or stop features. If we discontinue a paid plan, we will refund the unused part of the current paid period.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any investment or trading loss, lost profit, or indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

12. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms; if we close a paid account without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of the current period.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance, unless the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them. The date at the top shows the current version.
